Kellsi and Jace's Wedding

Kellsi and Jace got married August 11 and it was the most wonderful day! Actually back up a little to Thursday and Kellsi received her endowment in the Timpanogas Temple and that was a special day too. It was so wonderful to be with her for that special day. Then Friday we spent all day getting ready for the wedding and reception. Sam, my mom, and I worked hard all day! But, we had a great time together! Anyway, back to the wedding. It was so much fun! The weather was beautiful, but the temple had scaffolding all over it! What a bummer for pictures, but that was the only bad part of the day. The sealer was so sweet and the spirit was so strong during their wedding. I am so thankful for Jace. He is really the perfect match for Kellsi and he loves her so much. After the ceremony we went back to Nephi for the luncheon. The food was delicious and the lunch was fun. At the end of the lunch my sisters and I gave Jace a survival kit for being married to Kellsi. It was pretty funny and the last gift was a pair of Batman underwear for him to wear on their wedding night. It was funny :)
After the luncheon we got ready for the reception. Everything was so beautiful! It all came together really well and the reception was a lot of fun. A lot of people came and it really was a wonderful night. We are so happy to have Jace in the family!

Tables-funny story: Kellsi's wedding colors were inspired by my nook cover. It is pink and gold and I thought that would be so cute for a wedding. I told Kellsi and she liked the idea so we went with it. It turned out really pretty!

Girls Camp

The beginning of August I went to girls camp with my ward. I am the first counselor in the Young Women presidency. We had the best time! We have such cute girls and everyone got along so well. We went to a Boy Scout high adventure camp and it was fantastic! We got to rappel, do a ropes course, go canoeing, do archery, shoot guns, and rock climb. It was really fun! I just love these girls I get to serve and the women I get to serve with!

Family Campout

A few weeks before our annual family campout the Oak City canyon burned so we were unable to go there as planned. My aunt Sue has friends with property near Heber that we were able to use for the campout. It was a fabulous location and we had so much fun as always! We went up on Thursday night and had dinner in   Heber before going to the campsite. The next day we did some shopping in Park City at the outlets. This was definitely my kind of camping with shopping involved! We played games, the kids had a rubber ducky race in the creek, hiked, had great food, a fun talent show, and ended with a wonderful church program. It really is one of my favorite times of the year. I am definitely blessed to have such a great family that I have so much fun with!

Gavin and Me

I could not get this naughty baby to sleep. So, I finally left him in his pack-n-play in the trailer and let him cry. When I checked on him a little bit later this is how he fell asleep :)

Kaitlin's birthday was during the campout. This was probably the most fun part of the weekend! My parents got her tickets to the Justin Bieber concert and they were inside this big card. She was SO excited she started to cry! It was so much fun surprising her!
